♻️Sustainability, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Human Rights Policy
Business Commitment
PURPOSE
The Sustainability, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and Human Rights (HR) Policy is adopted by our company to integrate ethical, social, and environmental considerations into its business practices and strategic decisions. These three concepts are closely interconnected and complement each other to promote a positive impact on society and the environment.
Sustainability: Sustainability refers to the ability to meet present needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. In the business context, it involves adopting practices that balance economic growth with environmental protection and social well-being. A sustainability policy seeks to minimize the negative impacts of business operations on the environment, promote resource efficiency, foster resilience, and seek innovation opportunities to address environmental and social challenges.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR): CSR is the voluntary commitment of companies to operate ethically and contribute to the sustainable development of society. This implies that companies should not only seek profit maximization but also consider the impact of their actions on employees, customers, suppliers, local communities, and the environment. An CSR policy encompasses areas such as respecting labor rights, promoting diversity and inclusion, supporting local communities, responsible supply chain management, and transparency in communication with stakeholders.
Human Rights (HR): Human rights are the inherent rights of all individuals, regardless of nationality, race, gender, religion, or sexual orientation. Companies have a responsibility to respect and protect human rights in all their operations and supply chains. This involves ensuring fair and safe working conditions, respecting the dignity and equality of workers, preventing discrimination and forced labor, and addressing any negative impact on local communities. A human rights policy aims to promote principles of non-discrimination, equality, participation, and access to justice in all business activities.
